Members of DMW Crew Mayorkun and Peruzzi failed to shake hands to avoid contracting Coronavirus after meeting at the Lagos international airport today. According to Peruzzi, he did not shake hands with Mayorkun because he was trying to prevent himself. He tweeted that Mayorkun also replied his tweet, joking about the fear of the disease. This is coming after the news that broke in the early hours of today that the virus is now in Nigeria. The artists are obviously not joking with their health. Court Grants Iyanya Bail Over Car Theft Case Nigerian popular musician, Iyanya Mbuk, popularly known as Iyanya on Thursday was granted bail in the sum of N20 million by an Igbosere High Court in Lagos over alleged car theft. Iyanya, who rose to fame after winning the first season of Project Fame West Africa is facing a count charge of stealing. The charge was preferred by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Police. In her ruling, Justice Mobolanle Okikiolu-Ighile, said: “I have perused the affidavit and the counter-affidavit of the parties; there is a prima facie case of criminal conversion against him. Popularly known as Kaka, Tiyamiyu was buried at his family house in Ajaka area of Sagamu LGA on Thursday. A candlelight procession was held in his honour on Wednesday, February 26th. The House is probing Ambode over the procurement of 820 buses during his tenure. In his notice of appeal filed by his counsel, Tayo Oyetibo, SAN, before the Lagos division of the Court of Appeal, Ambode prayed the appellate court to return the case to the High Court. He is asking that Chief Judge reassign his suit to another judge of the High Court for trial. Respondents are the State House of Assembly, its Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa and the House Clerk, Mr. A. A. Sanni and Fatai Mojeed, the Chairman of the Ad-hoc Committee set up to probe the buses procurement.
