BREAKING: *WAEC Postpones 2020 Examination Over Covid-19!* The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on Friday, announced that it has postponed the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates, 2020 indefinitely. This was confirmed in a statement by WAEC Head of National Office, Mr. Patrick Ehidiamen Areghan, on Friday. "He said the examination was postponed because of the deadly coronavirus". The exam was scheduled to commence on April 6, 2020. “This is as a result of the impact of the novel and deadly coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and the serious implications it has for the conduct of the WASSCE for school candidates, 2020, coupled with the anxieties it has generated among the populace. Coronavirus: C&S leader stops large gatherings, Ayo Ni suspends all church services by  holatblog.  March 20, 2020       The Supreme Head, Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence, Dr, Prophet Solomon Adegboyega Alao JP, has instructed all churches in Lagos and Ogun States to comply with the directives of governments in both states, suspending religious gatherings that are more than 50 people. Alao said this just as the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District Headquarters, cancelled all services and ordered its members to observe family prayers at home. Alao said all Seraphs must join hands with the government to tame coronavirus with prayers and strict adherence to personal hygiene.
